Looking forward to watch these movies?

I’ll try to put the torrents of these movies in Torrent Geek as soon as they are leaked in the community. You can subscribe to Torrent Geek Feed to easily keep up with my latest movie torrents.

Update:

Commenters both here and in digg have complained about the accuracy of the list (not including IJ4 and ….).As I mentioned in the post this list is prepared by Yahoo. The only thing I’ve done is gathering some info from IMDB and finding official trailers from YouTube. But about the phrase “As we look back into 2007, we didn’t have many remarkable movies” this is just my opinion and your movie taste may be different from mine.Maybe I should have replaced “We” with “I” ;)

  1. u telling….no good movies in 2007….that’s not true….

    there were many…fine movies….
2007 was one ‘all right’ year….

and i do agree 2008, already, seems promising….

  2. There is no doubt that 2008 looks like it is going to have some better offerrings to this point. In 2007, did you miss Transformers, I am Legend, The Great Debaters, Awake, 1408, The Hunting Party, Superbad, Knock Up, Charlie Wilson’s War, Enchanted (don’t tease me), 300 (HELLO) and the list goes on. Your readers really shouldn’t have to tell you not to be a moron. I will admit Hollywood screwed up last year with their anti-war campaign. I think you’ve smoked to much dope and your memory is failing you. 2007 may not have been a great year, but it definitely had it’s share of hits.

  6. No Indiana Jones? GTFO ;-)

  7. No Bond. No Indy. Come on man. You’re putting up Horton Hears a Who above those anticipated films. Give me a break.

  8. No good movies?

    Eastern Promises.
    Bourne Ultimatum

That is all that needs to be said.

  9. 2007: Juno, Once, Eastern Promises, Hairspray, No Country for Old Men, Sweeney Todd, Ratatouille, There Will Be Blood, Away From Her, Sicko, Enchanted, Michael Clayton… and you say “we didn’t have many remarkable movies”?

  10. No Star Trek 11..also GTFO

  11. only two of these movies (cloverfield and batman) are any good, some have the potential and some are just terrible…

  12. this article kinda sucks

  13. Can’t wait for a few of these! Not much into comedy; but who knows I might get into something new.

  14. I don’t know if Rambo is “most anticipated”.

  15. I lost all respect for you when you listed Rambo

  16. haha, sex and the city…GIVE ME A BREAK!

  17. WTF I can’t believe you didn’t put Star Trek XI on this list? I know I’m a trekkie, but come on! That movie is being made by JJ Abrams, and that alone should make it noteworthy, not to mention that the Teaser trailer for the movie will be played as part of the Previews for Cloverfield. And What the Hell? Wall-E? I liked that movie the first six times around, when it was called EVERY DISNEY MOVIE OF THE LAST 8 YEARS!!!! (Or just ROBOTS). This is such BS.

  18. WTF is Indy4 missing?!

  19. Good looking list but I believe Jumper should be up there somewhere bringing Hayden Christensen into a role that would lift him into stardom and out of the role of Anakin Skywalker.

  20. indiana jones is gay

  21. Your list excludes way too many good movies. So, as been Ben wrote: “GTFO” indeed.

  22. umm … I4??

    W T F ! ! !

  23. No Harold and Kumar 2? Thats the only movie I’m going to pay for all year in 2008.

  24. Halo movie anyone?

  25. Argh. Aren’t they supposed to release Veggie Tales 2 in fall 2008? Guess the trailer is not ready yet. :(

  26. Dark Knight is going to be great. I’m really looking forward to Indy 4 and Hellboy 2 too.

  27. there was more hype around 2007 movies than 2008

  28. the chronicles of narnia? r u kidding me, if the population was made up of 10 year olds then that might be an anticipated movie, but with the audience being made up of more mature than not people, that movie shouldnt be on the list at all

  29. I am legend anyone ?

  30. That RoboCop shit better not be some street assasin furthering the poice state agenda….i want to see him take down the real criminals…ie…in Washington, and white collar billion airs who kill for profit

  31. I saw this same exact list at yahoo.movies. I dont know if they ripped off you or if you ripped off them. either way, its not a very good list. i still enjoyed reading it though, and checking out the trailers. and there are a couple I agree with with :-)

  32. For those of you who didn’t get the idea (which is basically everybody) these are the ten most anticipated movies of 2008 that HAVE trailers. Indy Jones doesn’t have one Bond 22 doesn’t even have a name for Christ’s sake.

  33. Most of these movies for 2008 are not creatively original, mostly rehashed themes of what we have seen over and over again. I think it’s going to be another disappointing year in 2008. Isn’t anyone tired of these these spy/assassin movies with Angela Jolie? Cloverfield looks promising though.

  34. you started off on a wrong note by saying that 2007 didn’t have any memorable movies. you redeemed yourself for putting cloverfield on the list, but honestly the rest of it is more or less garbage, give or take about 3 other films on the list.

  35. Woot, can’t wait for Cloverfield, Rambo, Chronicles of Narnia, Sex and the City, and The Dark Knight to come out!!

  36. DUDE! Sex in the City? GTFO. Jumper, Indy, Star Trek, where are they?

  37. The only movies that are worthy of spening my 11 bucks on are Cloverfield and The Dark Knight. The remaining movies are lame. Just a terrible list.

  38. well give credit where credit is due people. he did say that this was the list according yahoo.

  39. Definitely looking forward to Dark Night.

  40. you all need to get a life

  41. I’m ashamed that Harold and Kumar 2 isn’t on there. :(

  42. ehh. 2007 did infact have good movies. and most the ones on your list right now are commercial garbage.

  43. Lame article.
    Horton Hears a Who?? What?
2007 was one of the best years for film in quite some time.

  44. If you’re going to put up a “The Dark Knight” poster, at least put up an official one. Don’t pust some crappy fan made poster.

  45. what about “Jumper”

  46. how can you leave “Zack and Miri Make A Porno” off of this list? screw the sex and the city movie, kevin smith has a hit on his hands, gonna one of the top 5 movies of 08 EASILY.

  47. Wow, the movie studios sure are keeping it up with their Yipee-yahoo Go-go-War-On-Terror propaganda crap.

  48. i see what you did there

    http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/mostanticipatedof2008.html

  49. A bunch of sequels makes you salivate? You need to dust off the black and white movies to see quality. Mr Deeds Goes to Town vs. the Adam Sandler remake- speaks for itself.

  61. I didn’t read all the posts, but I must say the most anticipated (but not represented here) film of 2008 will be “Star Trek” (XI)!! Look for the teaser trailer for ST XI that is supposed to run with “Cloverfield”!

  63. A wanted movie? Sweeet I say! I picked up the comic a few weeks ago and thought it was compelling, and that it would be awesome to have it adapted to the big screen. Who knew? Looks good and I can’t wait!

P.S- What do you mean there aren’t any remarkable movies this year?!

  64. I’m anticipating for all the movies listed except for Sex and the City. I don’t get why the TV show needs to continue with a movie.

  65. I quite agree with Cloverfield and The Dark Knight, and I hope they’re as good as the hype makes them seem…

  66. HANCOCK? CMON WILL SMITH FINALLY AS HIMSELF + SUPERPOWERS. LOOKS AWESOME

  67. Not only is Star Trek the most anticipated movie of 2008 (based on the level of print and web buzz well over a year before its release), it will also be recognized as the most scrutinized production of all time. Please snag the teaser trailer being shown with Cloverfield and inclue Star Trek in your next revision.

  68. “As we look back into 2007, we didn’t have many remarkable movies”

  86. The list a complete joke, no one listen to anything ur said.
I know of some good films coming soon.
Here is my official list of what I think will be on top
    1. Jumper
    2. The Forbidden Kingdom
    3. Iron Man
    4. Indiana Jones 4
    5. Wanted
    6. 21
    7. Get Smart
    8. Speed Racer
    9. Hancock
    10. 10,000 BC

    Hows That…..

  87. So are these just listed in random order? The top 3 most anticipated (based on my experience from surfing the web) are The Dark Knight, Indiana Jones, and Iron Man. Instead, The Dark Knight is number 10 and Indiana Jones isn’t even listed. This is a terrible list, whoever compiled it needs to pull their head out.
